Raj Tour & Travels (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) accepts bookings subject to the terms and conditions set out below. These terms constitute the entire agreement between the Company and the client.
1. Booking Agreement
All bookings and resulting contracts shall be deemed to have been concluded in Agra, India, and shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
The parties hereby consent to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. However, the Company reserves the right to institute legal proceedings in the Civil Court of Agra at its discretion.
All prices, services, itineraries, and departure dates are correct at the time of publication but are subject to change without prior notice.
The Company reserves the right to:
- Revise the price of any tour in response to changes in tariffs, taxes, fuel costs, entrance fees, or currency fluctuations.
- Decline or refuse any booking without providing reasons.
A booking shall be considered confirmed only when written confirmation has been issued by the Company and the required payment has been received and cleared.
2. Payments & Deposits
- A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to secure a booking.
- The balance of payment must be made no later than 28 days prior to the departure date.
- If full payment is not received by the due date, the Company reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled, and the deposit shall be forfeited.
- Bookings made within 28 days of the departure date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
3. Cancellations
For cancellation rules, please refer to our Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
4. Passports, Visas & Travel Documents
- It is the sole responsibility of the client to ensure that passports, visas, health certificates, vaccination records, and any other required travel documentation are valid and in order.
- Passports must have at least 3–4 blank pages and meet all international validity requirements.
- The Company shall not be held liable for delays, denial of entry, loss, damages, or additional costs arising from incomplete or improper travel documentation.
5. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel and medical insurance (including emergency evacuation coverage) is mandatory for all travelers.
The client is responsible for:
- Obtaining sufficient insurance coverage
- Carrying proof of insurance during travel
Any costs arising due to the absence of valid insurance shall be borne solely by the client.
6. Baggage
All baggage and personal belongings remain the client’s responsibility throughout the tour.
The Company shall not be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
The Company may refuse excess baggage if necessary.
7. Assumption of Risk
The client acknowledges that participation in tours may involve personal risk.
The Company, its employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
- Injury or illness
- Loss of life
- Loss or damage to property
The client indemnifies and holds the Company harmless against all such claims.
8. Health & Fitness
- Clients must be in suitable physical and mental health to undertake the tour.
- A medical certificate may be required for travelers over 65 years of age.
- The Company reserves the right to decline a client who is deemed unfit to travel.
9. Tour Authority
- The decisions of the Company’s driver/guide are final at all times.
- Clients must comply with the laws, customs, and regulations of the countries visited.
- The Company reserves the right to remove any client from the tour for:
- Misconduct,
- Endangering others,
- Refusal to follow instructions.
No refund will be issued in such cases, and all extra travel expenses shall be borne by the client.
10. Photos & Marketing
You grant the Company a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use photographs or videos taken during the tour for marketing and promotional purposes, unless you notify us in writing prior to departure.
11. Optional Activities
Optional activities not included in the tour cost do not form part of this contract.
Assistance provided in booking such activities does not imply liability on the part of the Company.
The contract for optional activities is strictly between the client and the activity provider.
12. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be held responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:
- War, strikes, riots, or civil unrest
- Natural disasters or weather conditions
- Mechanical or technical breakdowns
- Government actions or border closures
No refunds or compensation shall be given in such cases.
13. Travel Documents & Information
Upon booking, clients will receive a tour brief & pre-departure guide.
It is the client’s responsibility to read and understand these documents prior to travel.
